Matthew Ashford  has confirmed that he will reprise his role  of Jack Deveraux. His scenes will start in Feb 2001

Macdonald Carey (Tom Horton) returns for a Christmas visit. It is said that Days will use computers and old episodes of Tom to pull this off. Apparently he will appear to visit Alice

Days is said to be going to London to cast Colin, who will be a doctor who gets to know a captive Marlena.

JAN AND JASON OFF CONTRACT:
As I said a while back Days had signed Heather Olsen (Jan) and Aaron Van Wagner (Jason) to stay with the show for three years. Now it seems that days had an amazing response from people telling them to concentrate more on Belle and Shawn, and Chloe, Phillip and Brady. So the pair were let out of contract, which means we will see less or nothing of them soon. And to be honest, I am glad. Whenever they were on screen all they did was make fun of Chloe, and take digs at the rest of them. They never had any real story lines, or any basis for why they were such jerks. Good riddance....

CHANNEL 5 ARE MESSING AROUND WITH DAYS
This is what they have been doing. Firstly, I will say I am truly grateful to Channel 5 for bringing Days back to the UK, but this does not mean they can mess around with the episodes. The firstly cut Mondays episode, where Bo has a dream, and imagines his baby as a monster. This is what the baby looked like. Then on Tuesdays episode they seemed to cut out a big chunk. Fair enough, this baby scene may have been a little risky for 10:20am, but I don't think Kate and Nicholas talking was to risky, or Eric hugging Nicole. I presume that they have started some new editing thing, which makes the show a lot harder to follow, especially like Tuesdays episode, which had a really weird ending of Eric saying, "I wonder if Nicole's pregnant". And finally, I record the Days omnibus for a girl in Germany who no longer can get Days over there, and now they have taken that off as well. God forbid if they ever done this to "beloved" SB, well I think it is very unfair. If you agree, email me and I'll contact them. 
I have some suggestions for Channel 5, as I know they have emailed me saying that they do check my site now and then (I feel honoured hehe).
The people who can't see Days in the week for obvious reasons could watch an omnibus another way. Have you thought about screening at another time. I.E. Early morning, very late night. I am sure the people who watch the omnibus would appreciate that you screen it anytime instead of completely take it off. It would also be a lot easier to record it, than trying to record 5 of them. I know a lot of the omnibus viewers are school students, and cannot record all the weeks episodes because of parents watching other programmes etc. Do you also know that you screen the omnibus directly opposite the new Melrose Place's on Sky One. Something to think about!

The NBC Days poll to find out who viewers want to be the father of Hopes baby is now over. The winning man will be exposed in the Summer in the US, and a few months later here in the UK

My Days UK Site is now listed in the Australian Inside Soap Magazine.

Ex- Days Star Jason Brooks, who played Peter Blake, is now a star in Baywatch Hawaii, and they have just cast Krista Allen in the show as his girlfriend, and she used to be in Days as Billie Reed. Its a small world!

Jensen Ackles is still leaving Days, we will see him leave here in the UK in a few months. And US TV Channel ABC are looking for a great Primetime show for him. Well done Jensen

Congratulations to Austin Peck (Austin), who on April 16th married fiancé Tara Crespo in Hawaii 

Kristian Alfonso and Kevin Spirtas (Hope and Craig) will be on Friends soon, when wee see what would've happened if Joey was still in Days.

A US soap talk show star will be making a cameo on Days soon.

It has now been confirmed that bad guy Kurt is to be written out of Days, his last show will be screened in the US in April so we will see his departure in June/July sometime.

Fran Ryan who was a star of Days from 1976 - 1979 as Bill and Laura Hortons housekeeper died on January 15th 2000. She was 83.

Farrah Fath, Mimi has renewed her contract to stay with Days for three more years.

Days has won its second TV Guide award for best soap opera. It beat All my Children, General Hospital and the Young and the Restless.
