These are my Crocuses(1997-1998). The medium is soft chalk pastel on paper. I produced this picture from a magazine- trying to accomplish the look of imitating photography by drawing the foreground flowers in focus and the ones in the background fuzzy. The crocuses won second place, in it's respective catagory of mediums, at my high school's Fine Art's Fair in the spring of '98. |

These are my Dragons. Inspired by the Aurian series by Maggie Fury, these dragons became the subject of my senoir canvas. The colors represent good and evil- as was told to me but my then-boyfriend, but now still best friend, Dustin Bores. Affectionalty this pair are referrred to as Fabian and Gilbert (1997-1998). They one second place in the spring of '98 at my alma mater's Fine Art's Fair. |
