Information gathered during your massage session or skin treatment is strictly confidential. Questions regarding your health may be asked during these sessions merely to accurately guage levels of stress, extent of injuries, or personal goals in the treatment.
Clients are draped during massage, skin, or body treatments. When an area such as the back is being worked on, this area is uncovered, treatment is preformed and then recovered to keep the muscles warm, and for the privacy of the client. Draping is required and is used for the purposes of warmth and professionalism. Undergarments can be worn if the client wishes.
As licensed and certified massage therapists and members of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the professionals of NuTwist Body Works adhere to the Code of Ethics promulgated by the AMTA.
This Code of Ethics is a summary statement of the standards by which AMTA members agree to conduct their practices and is a declaration of hte general principles of acceptable, ethical, and professional behavior.

Accept responibility to do no harm to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of self, clients, and associates.
Refrain from engaging in any sexual conduct or sexual activities involving their clients. This is against the law of Virginia State of Common Wealth.
