ABOUT ME Geezergranddad's life since graduation:Fall 1952 Attended TCU January 1953 Enrolled in The University with a major in government and minors in economics and sociology. Enlisted in the 90th Infantry Division of the Army Reserve. June 1956 Received Batchelor of Arts, commission as second lieutenant. 1957 Began active duty at basic officers' course at the Transportation School at Fort Eustis, Va. July 1957 Transferred to Camp Leroy Johnson in New Orleans, La. November 1957 Completed active duty. August 1958 Completed course work for MPA. October 1958 Began working for the City of Dallas as Municipal Goverment Apprentice and Administrative Aide to Director of Public Works and Water Superintendent. February 1960, Married Mary Ella Franklin. December 1960 Birth of Albert Thomas May 1963 Began work as Assistant to the City Manager, Lake Jackson March 1965 Began work at Austin's Urban Renewal Agency as Research Analyst, Deputy Director and Blackshear Project Director. April 1965 Birth of James Michael May 1970 Birth of Lisa Michelle 1972 Began work in the Comprehensive Offender Manpower Program in the Governor's Criminal Justice Division. 1975 Began work for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts as evaluation analyst and programmer analyst. and Brahms, Durufle, Faure and Handel.I retired from the army as a lieutenant colonel after completing the transportation corps Basic and Career Officers' courses and graduating from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, The Command and General Staff College, and the Logistics Executive Development Course. I served as a platoon leader, division motor transport officer and division transportation officer, assistant G3, G2, Adjutant, And G1. Living relatives other than numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and my
immediate family are a sister Valerie Clotilde.
