Can it carry my baggage,
to the end of the road,
can it handle the weight,
can it deal with the load?
Will my small car break down,
will it get a flat tire,
will its engine run on,
will its exhaust pipe back fire?
Can its roof remain down,
and its gas meter up,
can its mileage be good,
like hot tea in a cup?
These questions I ask
when I test out a car
so I wish that our maker
would go just as far.
