Lucked Out Again

Be careful what you cling to in a shipwreck:
The penis of a whale is like a log.
Each teardrop in love's eye was just a rainspeck,
and all those sloppy licks were from a dog.

Your knight in shining armor was the Tin Man:
his promised bed of roses was a bog.
You never carried trophies, just a bedpan.
You've taken no rewards, despite the slog.

And now you're drowning, clinging to a penis.
You might've seen the lifeboat, but for fog.
