At the moment all the Australian information I have is somewhat fragmented, therefore I hope anyone reading this page will be able to add some information to it, thus helping to compile and complete our Australian cousin's ancestry.  Many thanks to Campbell, Jan, Maureen, & many others for their valuable help.

TASMANIA & CONVICTS
SAMUEL GEER believed born in the Lewes district 1805. Transported in 1827 to Tasmania on the ship 'John.'  A SAMUEL  GEER was also transported in 1832/3 but I believe it was to Victoria this time and I assume it's the same Samuel who probably worked his passage back to the UK but fell foul of the law again, for this time he was sentenced for life.
