What happens when

we don’t take time

to see what lies

deep within our hearts?

 

Will we have direction

or know where to go

or even when to start?

 

How many times

do we set aside

our hopes and dreams

or try to hide

the truth inside?

 

Will we fool anyone?

or just tell ourselves

true lies.
