Fireflies

 

Can you imagine?

      a summer night

without the firefly in flight?

     magically lighting,

              igniting

   our imaginations.

 

Like a friend through

     a long dark winter

always there

    to brighten

our day.

 

Together

     we can find

the things

     that make our eyes

light up and dance

     like fireflies.

 

Walk with me,

     down the road of life

and help me find

     the fireflies

          again.
