Word smarts are something you just can't stop yourself from using. Right now I am using them to do this report and if you are reading it, you are using your word smarts as well. Whenever you do something that involves reading, talking or listening to words, then you are using your word smarts. If there were no such thing as word smarts, I wouldn't be righting this, there wouldn't be any books in the world, noone would talk and we would just be primitive human beings that didn't know anything (thinking is sort of using word smarts in your head). If you were hungry, you couldn't ask for food and you couldn't think of the idea as well. If you wanted to play with someone, you couldn't ask them or anything like that so the world will be a very hard place to live in (that is bad). But with the discovery of word smarts, we can talk, ask questions, read, sing, think, discover, learn etc. This is how word smarts are so important. There wouldn't be any other smarts if word smarts weren't here.
If you wanted a job that involved word smarts, it will be the same as people smarts, every single job requires word smarts. From writing to thinking, from talking to solving, every single job has AT LEAST 1 aspect that involves word smarts. The most obvious jobs in the field of word smarts are: author, speaker, critic, lyricist, reporter, journalist and all the other writing and speaking jobs. Then again, jobs like engineer, computer programmer, musician and house designer also require word smarts.
