District X/ Mutant Town
Located in The Lower East Side, somewhere between The Bowery and China Town, District X is home to a much higher than average mutant population, as well as a laundry list of set backs including the highest national rate of illiteracy, second highest in severe overcrowding outside of LA. It also has the United States highest crime rates for narcotics, prostitution, vehicular theft and burglary, making District X's 11th Police Precinct the most challanging to protect and serve.
Cafe Des Aristes
    The Cafe Des Artistes is a diner in Mutant Town run by Lauziere. His daughter Sylvette is a waitress there.
     The Cafe is decorated with photos of mutants from circuses and freakshows as well as framed stills from the cult movie, "Freaks", directed by Tod Browning.
Daniel's Inferno
Daniel's Inferno is a nightclub owned by crime lord Daniel "Shaky" Kaufman. Its name is an obvious riff on the novel "The Inferno" by Dante Alighieri.

Kaufman Enterprises has offices above the club.

Daniel's Inferno is managed by Lonnie Shakespeare.
Double Helix Restaurant
    
The Double Helix is a restaurant in downtown run by a mutant chef named Matthew and financed by his girlfriend, Jade Parisi. Jade is the daughter of a New Jersey mob boss.
McCarthy Avenue Tenements
McCarthy Avenue is home to a number of mutants in District X due to the low-income, tenement housing located there. Manfred Jones is the building manager at one such building.
Mutatoo
Mutatoo is a tattoo parlor in Mutant Town. It is run by a burly mutant who looks like a biker but who has several small, stubby arms running up the length of his normal-sized arms.
