Abilities: Due to his infection by the Lurk virus, the artificial x-gene Fray was injected with not only let him duplicate the abilities of the first mutant he came in contact with, but it altered his genetic make up to create a hybrid.

Fray has limited use of the metal manipulation abilities he duplicated from Shepard Xean.

Lurk hybrid
Fray's body has been enhanced to superhuman levels even by Haddyn standards. He is now able to press nearly 2,000lbs under optimal conditions. Fray's most noticible change is his unmatched healing factor. Fray is able to rapidly heal from almost any injury. 
History: Fray was born into the same world every other human in Haddyn came from. A world where humans were the minority, and made to live below mutants in every sense of the word. So long as they kept to the lower levels, and the streets, all was well...but the minute a human tried to better themselves, someone would be there to put them back down again, sometimes permanently.
     He learned the tricks of the trade; scavanging, pick pocketing, and even tricks to get onto the grid from time to time. Those skills made him one of the best runner's in Haddyn...a trade which got him into trouble with the law more than once. X-Men didn't like thieves, especially human theives.
     One job got him more than he bargained for. Fray stole information. What he found was more than he could handle. It was evidence that the X-Men engineered the virus that created lurks. Lurks were humans that, when infected, turned into mindless, primal, zombie like creatures. They unleashed them on the ground level, with safe guards to keep them from getting back to the humans. They were as a tool to get rid of humans, to help evolution along.
     Fray had lost everything to either the Lurks or humans. His father had been killed by an X-Man when before he was born, and his mother killed by lurks when he was a boy. Being orphaned left him in the care of a young minister, Shepard Xean. It was Xean's logic and rationality that convinced Fray not to go after the X-Men...which would have certainly been a suicide mission.
     So Fray remained bitter, angry, and hateful...but he had The Pack. The closest thing to a defense the humans of Haddyn have. He keeped a watchful eye out...ever searching for concrete proof of what the X-Men did, almost religiously so.
    
     Now Fray has been changed, given an artificial x-gene, fused with the lurk virus to make him an unkillable hybrid. His mentor, the closest thing he had to a father is dead by the the hands of an X-Man. The Pack is now completely in his hands, and in a completely new world.

Now they have the chance to stop Tomorrow from coming.

Now they can stop the rise of mutants.
