At first glance Amorphus would have only one ability, however it would seem the gods of chaos, death and destruction chose this man for a higher purpose, and it shows in several uncanny augmentations
Amorphus is able to turn his body to a complete liquid metal state. In this state he is able to shape his body to nearly anything he desires, often employing long razor edged whips or tendrils as a means of attack. In this form he is virtually indestructable.
As a form of mutation upon a mutation, one that only the most priveledged minds in science have a name for, Amorphus is nearly immortal, even outside his metal form. The only way that had been shown to destroy him thus far is decapitation, or completely incinerating his body. Any death aside from these typically results in rapid regeneration. Amorphus is an External.
The last, and most cruel gift given to Amorphus, is the Anti-Phoenix Force. A piece of the Phoenix carved away thousands of years ago, twisted and warped into a force of destruction, and malice, with no middle ground. The Anti-Phoenix Force propels a mutants abilities to amazing new levels, blowing away old limits and restrictions. Already it has shown that Amorphus can completely scramble a human mind by merely breaking their skin while in metal form. Though that is likely not the last talent the A.P.F. will bring him.
