the early november - the room's too cold
Simply said, this is probably one of my favorite albums of all time, which is a pretty tough title to acquire. This album compiles bone-chilling vocals, stunning harmonies, lyrical genius, crisp and tangling instrumentals. If you have any taste at all, you should find something enjoyable on this eclectic album.
The Early November manages to represent and display with due justice every end of the musical spectrum. The lovely acoustics include "Ever So Sweet" and and "Dinner at the Money Table." More rock-inspired tracks include "Baby Blue" and "Fluxy," while "Everything's Too Cold... but You're So Hot" is simply breathtaking and beautifully written and performed.
Many of the songs come fully equipped with clever one-liners, such as "I don't care becuase I care too much," showing just how much thought and attention to detail was put into and can be found in this album.
I think my favorite thing about this album is the steady string of strong emotion that is constantly being pounded out, in one way or another, by Ace Enders. He never holds back, and the amazing instrumental parts only augment the violent effect of the overall sound. |
