About Geek Chick

I am a 26-year-old software engineer, hence the pen name "Geek Chick"! I live with my husband, who is an excellent beta-reader and has prevented me from posting an embarrassing number of mistakes in my stories! We have no children, but we do have two crazy cats to keep us busy! While I do enjoy my job, I also enjoy more artistic hobbies to give my brain a break from all of the logical thinking required for programming computers. When I'm not reading Tolkien or writing fan fiction, I also enjoy reading other authors, drawing, painting, and scrapbooking.
