Although this has never been one of the larger shows, it has always been one that I have enjoyed the most. The Kent State University School of Fashion and Design puts on a show every year highlighting the senior designers who are about to make their way into the world. Top name companies are invited to see the creativity of the students and many have been hired from their contact at this show.
What I enjoy the most is working with the students. Teaching them the ins and outs of staging and helping them come up with a creative idea each year for their show. Working in a small space with very difficult constraints makes the show a challenge, but it is fun to see what we can do with such a tight room and a tight budget.
