PICTURE STORE FOR DECEMBER 2000

21st December 2000 This picture was taken tonight at the High School party.  It's great to see young people enjoying themselves in such wholesome and healthy entertainment such as we see here.  Traditional Scottish dancing is as popular among the youth of Tiree as ever!  After the first half of their party closed with the Orcadian version of Strip the Willow the accordianists left and the DJ arrived with his Disco equipment!  The amazing sight then was young people 'boogie-ing' in their kilts! Great stuff!

Here are the boys and girls of the pre-five playgroup as they arrived to entertain the Lunch Clubbers at the Tiree Resource Centre in Crossapol on Wednesday 20th December.
