My name is of Scotish origin and my first name means "great hill". If taken in a Russian context, it is a derivative from the word "pride" and would roughly translate into "the proude one". I'm by no means egotistical but I am proud of my family and accomplishments. I am the fourth Gordon D. Stewart, and as for those inquiring minds out there, should I have a son, I'm definately considering on adding a fifth...why not?
I was born in South Dakota on January 29th; the temperature was about 32 below zero. I moved to Illinois at 6 mos. and have lived here ever since. I really do like it here, even with the crazy weather patterns if you can even call it a pattern...
I'm majoring in Biology at Millikin University in hopes of going to graduate school and becoming a scientist of sorts; I'm into genetics, and with the mapping of the human genome, it could be quite promising. I work with a great group of people and friends at the coffee shop on campus and can't imagine working anywhere else.
I play guitar in my free time, if you ever want to hear just drop a line, I love to play. I've been doing it since December of 2000 and as I keep learning I just don't want to put it down. Some of the songs I've learned in full are: Radio, Stupid Kid, and Ninety-Seven by Alkaline Trio, Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead, Brainstew, Jaded, Basket Case, Macy's Day Parade and Good Riddance by Green Day, Flowing and Come Original by 311, Dammit, Anthem, Adam's Song, and Stay Together for the Kids by Blink 182, Screaming Infidelities, Anyone Anyone, and Again I Go Unnoticed by Dashboard Confessional, Champaigne High and Your Winter by Sister Hazel, and many more by now.
I'm out of things to say so I'm calling it quits for now...I'll be back though. |
