-Billy is the second highest drafted baseball player in Clemson's history (Kris Benson-96).

-Billy was a member of the 1996 U.S. Olympic Baseball Team.

-In 1999 Billy opened the season with Syracuse, and he was 3-0 with 5 starts with an ERA of 3.86.

-On May 5th, Billy made his Major League debut with the Toronto Blue Jays, he pitched 2.2 scoreless innings and he retired the first six batters he faced.

-His best stretch of games was his 11 games in June, where he went 0-0 with six saves, and he had an ERA of 0.61, which is 2 earned runs in 14.2 innings pitched.

-Billy set an American League rookie record with 31 saves.
