The fate of the free world rests in your hands. Problem is, you can't remember why! You play a top secret agent on a top secret mission into the heart of Indo-China. However, it seems it was less than secret. You're ambushed as you get out of your plane. You've awakened in a dank & run-down hotel room. You can't rmember how you got there. You can't remember your mission.....and you can't remember YOU! Time to start worrying.

In what can be best described as a combinaion of RESIDENT EVIL for it's movie like camera angles & DEJA VU for it's overall story line & plot devices, Secret Mission only manages to just barely keep your intrest. The pace of the game is very slow, a plus for those who're more into the story angle of the game. However, it's just not got the overall speed of movement to keep even the most die-hard player from getting a little of that "BOGGED DOWN" feeling.

The controls, while very simplistic, can get cumbersome at times. However, since most of the games' puzzles are childishly simple, the problem shouldn't happen too often. Sound effects & voice overs are very good, though emotionless. Plus some of the accents sound VERY fake. The biggest complaint you'll probably have though is re-play value... there isn't any. Its the same everytime you play.

To sum it up, if you're looking for a medium to slow paced adventure with not too difficult puzzles. This game is for you. If you need a real challenge, look elsewhere.
