| For all the cruisers out there searching for a Captain to sail to distant shores! 'Take Heart!! I actually met my Captain and love of my life on Yahoo personals!. I'm an Asian lady born in the Philippines. After several months of chatting with my sweetie, Gary flew me to "Palau" in Micronesia. We spent a month together there and we enjoyed each others company and when I returned to the Philippines I found an e-mail message asking me how soon I can return to Palau!! We returned to "Palau" 6 months later and he proposed to me! After 6 months my fiancee petition was granted and I flew to the United States. We were married in December 2005. My sailing experience is limited to one lesson but I intend on accompanying Gary on many future cruises and enjoying the life of a sailing couple! We plan on sailing to the Philippines and gary will retire there. |
