Washington, DC

    The US Federal Capital City is simply one of the most beautiful and charming places of this planet. We spent there ten days, visiting the Congress, the Pentagon, the State Department, the National Security Council, the National Defense University, and several local think-tanks, notably the CSIS and the Cato Institute.

Advice: do it my way!

The best way to deal with jet lag is to do like in your own country.... Just arrived from Europe, I started my journey walking in the City until night. Then I went to Georgetown, looking for nice pubs... Our search (Thanasis and Murat were already together with me) was quite successful, given we met Jessica and Mirelle. We were back to the hotel not before 1:30 a.m. (7:30 in Europe !!!). We had other several funny evenings downthere ......

Capitol Hill is one of the favourite places for taking pictures in case of marriage.  Like the Coliseum in Rome .....
