Tonight following a family outing to Dairy Queen, Debbie pointed out the approximately half full moon to Emily.
Emily searched the sky, found the moon and then said, "It's broken."
Apparently whether in person or represented in books, movies, and television, in Emily's first two years, she has only seen the moon as being full.
