Arizona beats Yanks, claims 2nd title in 3 years
The series was dominated by great pitching highlighted by one of the best pitched World Series game in recent memory as both starters (Halladay and Batista) allowed just one hit in 9 innings (game box and log).
The INSIDER World Series MVP was awarded to Brian Giles who punished New York pitching for a .360 batting average, 3 homeruns and 7 RBI. Once again, Luis Gonzalez delivered the series winning hit and RBI. This time he singled in two runs in the 8th to reclaim the lead in Game 6
