In this game, the single player follows a storyline where "Timesplitters" are breaking into the room that you and your partner have retreated to. You must travel through time to collect crystals. There are many modes for single player, split screen co-op, and multiplayer (4 people max).
The graphics on this game are great. Although the enviorment could've been more interactive, it doesn't hinder the realness the game gives. The faces have great expressions and actually move to form the words they are saying. Computer players getting shot and their death scenes are quite realistic.
The controls in this game are the best you can get on the GC controller. It isn't hard to learn what does what, but I still believe that the best controller for a first-person shooter is the N64 controller.
The music isn't great, but the sound effects of zombies and the people around you talking is very good.
This game doesn't get old fast. After beating the game in story mode, there are still many arcades and challeges to beat to gain new characters and levels, and that is just the single player! Multiplayer has many modes to play and many characters and maps to choose from. If you get bored with those maps, you can design your own. If you liked Goldeneye or Perfect Dark, you will like this game.
