This game basically goes along with the movie. Although there are a few changes in characters. It is 1 player. It is a mission game. Some missions last a while and some missions are very short. Once you beat the game with "Jon", you can beat it with alternate heroes (ie. G.I. Jon).
The graphics in this game are okay. If they are buffed or sharpened it would look a lot better. Also, sometimes, when you kick a guy it doesn't always hurt him. It just pushes him back a bit. But the game does have good fighting moves like face smash, upper cuts, and the throws are cool too. You can interact with most of the environment. (ie. throwing guys through glass or off sides of buildings) The game also has a killer demo video. Be sure to check it out.
The controls for this game are good. I love to be able to be in the middle of a fight and in a split second pull out my concussion gun and blast everyone away. The problem is the harder attack moves don't always work. Sometimes, you hit the buttons and it works perfectly. Other times, you can hit the buttons in the exact order and it only does half the move. This only happens on a couple harder moves, but it shouldn't happen at all.
The sounds of the weapons, voices, and music are good. The only thing I disliked was that there wasn't more music. There is a music video of the theme song, which was cool. The song goes great with the killer demo video.
The game is fun. But like any combat game, it gets a bit repetitive. What really keeps the game alive is the ability to interact with the environment and trying to find hidden money and secrets. Normally after you beat a game like this, you are done with it. But the "Alternate Heroes" keeps it alive.
