This is one of the #1 Gamecube games out there. You play the role of Samus as she (yes you're a girl) fights against the Space Pirates on Talon IV. You explore the depths of Talon IV as you try to stop the biological research that the Pirates are doing on the Parasitic Metroids.
The graphics of this game are great. The levels are very detailed, and so are the monsters. Besides the normal combat visor, you also get the infrared visor and x-ray visor, which each display the awesome graphics of this game.
The controls of this game can get quite annoying. The button placement wasn't set up too well, so even by the end of the game, you find yourself shooting missiles when you want to turn into a morphball.
The SFX and music of this game are great, but the music can really get on your nerves, because it stays the same throughout each area, and you usually spend a lot of time in one area.
Even once you beat this game, you'll want to play it again on a harder mode, or you'll go back and try to get 100% completion. While you do a lot of backtracking, it's always to uncover a new area with a newly acquired weapon or suit ability (morphball, superball, etc).
