Greetings from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.

The picture above was taken of me on Sunday morning (July 13, 2008) standing on Devil's Knob taking video of the Blue Ridge Mountains. According to the terrain map on Google maps, the exact spot (GPS coordinates 37.915574, -78.958256) where I was standing is about 3600 feet above sea level. Well, some of the video (the other four minutes) is from the "Blue Ridge Tribute" slideshow my daughter did for a school project in 2007. This past weekend I finally got to drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway that I had only seen pictures of!
