The picture above was taken in June 2007 from the top of Massanutten peak near the Blue Ridge in Virginia. If you are wondering why Boo doesn't look thrilled, its because we had just hiked to the top of the mountain and we were harrassed by little black flies. Normally the view from there of the Blue Ridge is spectacular, but on this day there was a lot of haze, and we made it back down the chair lift just in time before a thunderstorm struck. I will post a link to more pictures later.

Let me know if you can see the video. This was from a school project about the Blue Ridge that Boo did for her fourth grade class about the regions of Virginia. I had just figured out how to use Windows Movie Maker, so that was the method of choice instead of a Powerpoint slideshow. This way you can set it to music and make the transitions in time to the music. When you look at my favorites on YouTube, you can see a few other Blue Ridge slideshows that were the inspiration for our version.
