Last night we looked for meteors from my wife's cousin's house outside Harrisburg PA. Between 10 PM and midnight, I saw five meteors, but three of them were NOT Perseids(!). They were shorter train meteors moving from south to north emanating from a point in the southeast sky. It turns out there are two(2) meteor showers reaching their peak this week, and earlier in the evening, the radiant of the Delta Aquarid meteor shower is more favorable placed than the Perseid radiant. I did see two Perseids also... longer train, brighter meteor, left a trail of "smoke" moving from northeast to south. As my daughter said, it looked like a meteor in a movie. I said "It was real!"
