When that book (and movie version) came out in 2000/Y2K, as the video clip shows, they used skip codes and cross codes to show that the word "Barak" crossed the hebrew words for "Armageddon" and "End of Days" (see graphic). The actual "code" is in Hebrew, the English language version above is just a "dramatization."
There is a Hebrew word Baruch which is very familiar to all Jews since it is the first word of many important prayers "Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Malech Haolam.." It means to kneel, to pray, or to bless. Barack Hussein Obama wants you to think that his name comes from the Arabic word Baruch which has a similar meaning.
That may be what John McCain was alluding to in his controversial sarcastic YouTube ad "The One" which starts out "In 2008, The World Will Be BLESSED ..."
But that is NOT what "Barak" means. According to several Hebrew dictionaries I found online, modern Hebrew word for "lightning," also the last name of Ehud Barak, who was Prime Minister of Israel in 1999-2001 then defeated by Ariel Sharon when he ran again. It is also the name of a weapon in the IDF arsenal, the Barak surface to air missile, which was involved in scandal, the details of which I will save for a future message, but you can look up yourself online. Barak is also a name from the Old Testament, a military general mentioned briefly in the Book of Judges.
But the Bible Code authors could not have known that in the near future another leader would emerge, virtually out of nowhere, to win the Democratic nomination for President of the USA, a country very much engaged in the balance of power in the Middle East, a country without whose support the Nation of Israel would have been wiped off the map numerous times in its short history.
"For in those days there will be great signs and portents in the heavens

wars and rumors of wars..."
This quotation is from the Gospels, and is one of the few direct quotes from Jesus himself when he is not speaking in a parable form. Historians attribute the quote to a speech given inside the actual temple in Jerusalem when he also said "truly I say to you, here you will not see one stone left standing on a stone" which alludes either to the destruction of the second Temple in 66 A.D., which was 30+ years after Jesus was crucified, or an event to take place at some indetermined future time.
The Book of Revelation then lays out a much more detailed scenario in the form of a dream. Many scholars have tried to identify modern persons or institutions with the vivid dream imagery- who is the beast, the dragon that rises out of the sea, the whore who sits on the moon and drinks the blood of the saints, etc. The catechism of the Catholic Church denounces the idea of trying to decode Revelation as necromancy- every generation since the time of Rome has believed that the emperor or king in their time was the "666" but of course they all came and went and the world is still here.
However, there has been a growing consensus among U.S. evangelical Christians during the past two decades about what some of the imagery might mean. I have read, and discussed at length, a variety of sources who believe that: (a) the 'dragon' is Britain; (b) the 'lesser dragon' is the USA; and other countries in the middle east are either explicitly identified, or alluded to by eagles (symbol of ROME as well as on the US Great Seal) and other animals. You may be familiar with the timeline of events in prophecy as they have been reflected in pop culture like the "Left Behind" books and movies- the tribulation, the rapture, etc.
The first dragon is a dragon that rises out of the sea. Therefore speculation is that this refers to the British Empire which was the first truly 'global' empire since Rome based on NAVAL power. Britain did a lot of barbaric things in history, among which included reinstating the slave trade for the first time since it was abolished after Christianity was adopted by the Holy Roman Empire. Since Africans were seen as pagans and non-Europeans were seen as less than human, it was somehow OK to sell them into slavery, and the British (and other Europeans) exploited the willingness of African tribes to sell their enemies which were defeated in battle. We are still dealing with the fall out from those abuses today.
The "lesser dragon" arises out of the first dragon and causes the world to worship the first dragon. The US was founded from colonies of Britain who fought a war of independence from the crown but 100 years later our closest ally was the mother country who we defended in two world wars, and now we perform joint peace-keeping operations in the name of democracy. The Queen is still the largest property owner in the USA, through various holding companies, and owns a lot of land right here in Virginia "horse country."
The US has become the policeman that enforces the boundaries of the kingdoms that were established in the middle east by the British prior to WWII, and helps prop up the so-called "monarchies" who pay homage to the British model by concentrating wealth and power in the hands of a single family. Even an "enlightened despot" like King Abdullah who was born in England (during an eclipse) to King Hussein and a British mother has to maintain a secret police force to defend against constant assasination plots, some of which might be engineered to place his bitter older brother on the throne, since he was passed over by King Hussein as not being worthy, and his supporters who planned to benefit from his reign were disenfranchised.
You might ask what any of this has to do with Obama, other than the obvious fact that the next president takes over the most powerful nation in the world whose military is engaged in Iraq and elsewhere. The next president, whoever he is, will also be in power in the year 2012 when we once again reach "
solar max" like we did in 2001, and the Mayan calendar is supposed to end.
One thing I can tell you, if Obama gets elected (and I think he WILL) the next day Israeli jets will bomb the uranium enrichment plant in Iran- mark my words! This will have terrible consequences politically and militarily for Israel and its allies, but they will see it as having no other choice, because the alternative (Iran getting nukes) is worse.
Then the neophyte administration will find itself thrust into a new war in the Middle East and more terrorist threats at home. Do you doubt that the Al Qaeda leaders who planned 9-11 knew that after the new president took office, even if he was a "hawk" and the son of the former president who fought Iraq, they would have a window of vulnerability to attack while the new adminstration was getting its bearings? Consider what happened all the way back in 1980-81 ... the Iranians released the hostages on the VERY DAY that Reagan was sworn in! The official reason you might read in history books is that they did not want devil-Carter to get the credit for negotating the release, but the "back channel" is that they knew Ronnie would nuke their asses!
Also consider that Israel itself was formed out of territory that was under British mandate, that Herzl's Zionist movement originated in Britain with the approval of Prime Minister Benjamin D'Israeli, and emigration to Palestine was continuing at low levels for most of the 20th century until the Germans forced another modern diaspora of Biblical proportions. Israeli Prime Minister Begin had been one of the "terrorists" who bombed the King David hotel forcing the British to pull out of Palestine and allowing the Israelis to declare independence. In that war in 1948 (birth year of Prince Charles) and all the mideast wars since, without US and British assistance, Israel would have been wiped off the map. In the Suez campaign of 1956, the 1967 war, and the Yom Kippur war in 1973, the US and Britain intervened directly. I am not going to give a full history here, but just making the point that the US, Britain, and Israel are linked forever, and this reflects what was foretold almost 2000 years ago.

In future posts, I will try to explain how Obama's horoscope and birth chart are related to Diana's and the British Royal Family, even though he is not a Mayflower descendent like the Bush clan. The reason Diana was killed may have been that she was about to get engaged to a MUSLIM and that would mean the future KING (WIlliam) could end up with a Muslim half-brother or sister, an outcome that was unacceptable to the 'grey haired men' who surround Charles and the Queen. In other words, if Diana had married Dodi Fayed and had more children (she may have been pregnant the night that Dodi gave her a RING before they got in the limo) she would have had a child who was HALF-WHITE and HALF-MUSLIM - does that sound FAMILIAR!?! But instead, the limo crashed, in the tunnel, on August 31, 1997 ) which was ELEVEN YEARS AGO last month (also 3 days after a SOLAR ECLIPSE!).

... mostly I wanted to point out the picture of Diana dancing in the WHITE HOUSE with John Travolta (royalty, Hollywood, and Washington all in conjunction). Diana was the quiet shy girl who rose from obscurity (she was a royal, but unknown) to charm the world. From the very first time we saw her lit from behind in the school yard where she taught preschool, we were mesmerized. After her death, Camille Paglia wrote the most amazing eulogy about how we had created a mother/goddess persona for Diana. It wasn't until she died that we realized the extent of the "cult-like" following that had surrounded her, but this was pointed out by contrast to the funeral of Mother Teresa a week later, a literal saint, who got far less attention than Diana did. Some of that "mystical" ability to mesmerize people got inherited by her son, whose birth chart 21 years later has a strong resemblance to Diana's and to Obama's (the Jupiter-Saturn cycle lasts 20-21 years).
One of the things that made Diana so alluring was that while she was a true royal and aristocrat, she had a down-to-earth quality, a vulnerability (Shy Di) that made her seem approachable. Obama is also mesmerizing in his own way, but for different reasons. As a male he can seem strident and indignant when he speaks, but he is an enigma- nobody can really figure him out. To whites he is black but not too black, to blacks he seems a little too white, but they identify with him more than they do any of the white establishment leaders. He is also an enigma on religion, even though he gave a speech in Philadelphia that pushed all the right politically-correct buttons. He reminds me of Michael Jackson in a way- not just the "rock star" persona that makes people faint at concerts- but do you remember the video for "
Black or White" in which the people from all the different races get morphed together?

Michael Jackson himself is an example of someone who doesn't know what he wants to be, and one theory about why he became a plastic surgery experiment gone haywire is that he was trying to turn himself white. You could play Jackson's song at Obama rallies and it would be appropriate (MJ also wrote one called "Dirty Diana" on his next album, and John Travolta is in the video!). And of course "We Are The World" is the ULTIMATE example of rock stars banding together to save the world, leading to concerts like "LIveAID" and ultimately to the Diana Princess of Wales memorial concerts, produced by Richard Branson and hosted by Princes WIlliam and Harry, the money raised to give to charities around the world that champion the causes Diana was concerned about.
Please understand me here, the comparison is superficial only- Jackson is a certifiably insane homosexual pedophiliac, and Obama is none of those things. But to me Obama's persona has all the races and religions morphed together. Is he black or is he white? Is he
Christian or is he Muslim? He could be all things to all people... people project onto him what they want to see in a leader... an almost messianic figure who will finally bring change... and "save the world" from war, and from environmental disaster.
himself were running for president, people would vote for him in record numbers. He might even call himself some made up name like "HITLER STALIN MAO" a combination of three of the biggest mass murderers of the last century, but change the letters around slightly to make an anagram so the name would not be recognizable. He would be a mesmerizing speaker who would promise to solve the world's biggest problems- like war in the Middle East, and global warming. He would promise to give a tax-cut to everyone in the middle class (didn't BUSH do that- TWICE?) and say he could pay for it by closing tax loopholes and making government more efficient (yeah right!) and people would believe it, even though Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton promised the same thing. He would talk about faith and family values without talking about his own religion. He might claim to have been converted to Christianity but then disavow the pastor of the church where he made that conversion. He might allude in speeches to the dream of Martin Luther King when he himself is not a grandson of slaves. In other words, he would say all the right things, push all the right buttons, tell you what you wanted to hear, in order to get your vote.
