The Greater Charleston Junior Bowling Association shirt awards program will operate for the 2000-2001 season under the following guidelines. The steps and forms will be followed and enforced. Scores eligible for this program are those bowled in a sanctioned winter league for the 2000-2001 season, in a sanctioned summer league for the 2001 summer season, the GCJBA City Tournament, the South Carolina State YABA Tournament, or the Coca-Cola Tournament. No score bowled prior to the start of the 2000-2001 winter season will be honored by this program.
1. The bowler must be a sanctioned (00-01 card) member through a
league with the Greater Charleston Junior Bowling Association and be on file as
a member of the league in which the series or game is bowled, if different from
the one in which originally sanctioned. Late sanction applications may cause shirt
awards to be denied!
2. The bowlers series or game score will be scratch and must be bowled in a sanctioned league, the CGJBA City Tournament, the S.C. State YABA Tournament, or the Coca-Cola Tournament.
3. The bowler must have an established average with the Greater Charleston Junior Bowling Association as outlined below.
Bowlers must meet one of the following average requirements and in the order of which they are listed. All averages used as established averages must be on at least 21 games in a YABA sanctioned GCJBA league.
1. The bowlers average of the day the score is bowled will be considered the established average. Scores not average based are exempt from this rule.
2. The bowlers final average from the 2000-2001 winter season will be the established average for the summer league until the bowler has 21 games in the summer league, at which time Rule #1 will apply
3. Scores bowled before a 21 game average has been established will be held in abeyance until such average is attained. This 21 game average will be considered the established average for all scores bowled previously.
4. For scores bowled in the GCJBA City Tournament, the S.C. State YABA Tournament, and the Coca-Cola Tournament, refer to Rule # 3.
