Will of L.R. Keplinger, Deceased

I, L.R. Keplinger, of near Maysville, Grant County, West Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament, thereby revoking all former wills made by me.

I hereby direct my executors to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses.

I hereby direct my executors to sell all of my personal property and any real estate that I may own at the time of my death at public auction to the highest bidders. However, if either of my sons desire to have my home place, they are to have first chance.

I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Dena M. Keplinger, all of my household and kitchen furniture to be hers absolutely and in fee simple.

I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Dena M. Keplinger, the sume of $2,000.00 cash to be hers absolutely and in fee simple.

All of the balance of my property, consisting of money, notes, stocks and the proceeds received from the sales of my real estate and personal property, I give, devise and bequeath equally to my children, Clara Keplinger Sage, Herman C. Keplinger, Virgil R. Keplinger, John G. Keplinger and Augusta R. Keplinger Shillingburg, share and share alike, to be theirs absolutely and in fee simple.

I hereby authorize and empower my hereinafter named executors to make, sign and deliver to the purchasers deeds for my real estate.

I hereby give and allow my sons, John G. Keplinger, and Herman C. Keplinger, each the sume of $50.00 for their services as executors and the same to be considered as their commissions. In other words John G. Keplinger is to receive $50.00 and Herman C. Keplinger is to receive $50.00.

I hereby appoint my sons, John G. Keplinger and Herman C. Keplinger, as executors of this my last will, who are to act without bond.

Witness my signature this the 11th day of June, 1953.

Signed, published and declared by L.R. Keplinger as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who in his presence at his request, and in the presence of one another have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses this the 11th day of June, 1953.

In the Clerks Office of the County Court of Grant County, West Virginia, September 22nd, 1953 � In recess of said Court:

This day Myrtle K. Park produced to the Clerk a paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of L.R. Keplinger, deceased, and upon motion of Myrtle K. Park, said will was proven by the oaths of Alvin E. Keplinger and Myrtle K. Park, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded according to law.
