Will of Edith B. Judy

I, EDITH B. JUDY, of Petersburg, Grant County, West Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make this my last Will and Testament.

FIRST: I direct the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses. However, I wish to state that I do not wan an elaborate funeral.

SECOND: I, give, devise and bequeath to Dr. Spates Brady the sume of ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLARS.

THIRD: I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Ellen Brady the silver service including the silver salt and pepper; also the cut glass; also the linen cloth and napkins of the Oriental Poppy design. The rest of the table and bed linens and glassware to be disposed of as the three girls, namely Ellen, Carolyn, and Mary, see fit; also the green and gold blanket to Ellen.

FOURTH:  I give, devise and bequeath to my niece, Carolyn Wilson and Mary Wills, the Towel silver with the request that if they have more than they need to fill in their respective sets, the remainder to go to Nancy. Mary Wills to have anything out of the kitchen that she wants.

FIFTH: I hope that one of the girls, namely Ellen, Mary or Carolyn will keep the corner cupboard, but if they don�t, Mrs. Curtis McCoy to have the first chance to purchase it.

SIXTH: I give to Dr. Lorraine Hutson the six (6) Chantilly teaspoons.

SEVENTH: I would like for the girls to give Ceil and Mary Margaret some of the remaining silver. I also give to Ceil the Gooseneck rocker and $100.00 out of my personal estate to have the same renovated if that much remains out of my personal estate after the other bequests, debts and cost of administration are paid.

EIGHT: The old dresser of grandmothers to go to Dulap if he wants it; also his mother�s furniture.

NINTH: Clarissa to have her grandmother�s gold thimble.

TENTH: I give to David and Michael the sum of $100.00 each if that much remains out of my personal estate.

ELEVENTH: All of the remainder of my property, both real and personal, not specifically disposed of herein, I give, devise and bequeath to my three nieces Ellen, Carolyn and Mary, share and share alike.

I wish to say to the girls that considerable effort has been made to purchase a strip off the eastern edge of the Home Property and they can sell this strip if they so desire but I have not made any commitments either express or implied to anyone.
