Powers of the county of Grant, and state of West Virginia Being of a sound Mind, nowing the certenty of death, and no6t nowing the time, do hereby, Make My Last Will and testament, to It, I first comet My soul to God and my Body to the ground, I demand that my honest debts be paid, after which I grant unto my Late wife Anmariah one third of all My Estate real and Persenel, to do with It as she May wish, to Daniel Pav I grant five dollars to be credated on his note he owes me, all he shall Receive. To david Paw I grant five dollars, all he shall Receive of My Estate. To Magie Ened Vearnie Grandaughter I grant the sum of fifty dollars. The Balance Must Be devided to My foor children Mattie Lyon, Sary C. Paw, Charley Powers and hattie Roatruck Equail In devisian Except Charley W. Powers he must have fifty dollars Extrey, the Part of Sary C. Paugh, Must Be devided to her children children. I appoint Charley Powers My sun Soul administrater of My Estate hoping thare will be no trouble after My death. Writen and signe By My own hand this the Seventh day of December 1911. Eli A. Powers Finely friends farwell In the Clerk�s Office of the County Court of Grant County, West Virginia, June 8, 1912, in the recess of said Court. The foregoing writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Eli A. Powers, late of this County, was this day presented to the Clerk. And there being no subscribing witnesses to the said Will, J.H. Strother and I.V. Inskeep were sworn and severally deposed that they are well acquainted with the handwriting of the said Eli A. Powers, deceased, and verily believe that the said will and the signature thereto subscribed are wholly in the handwriting of the said Eli A. Powers, deceased. Whereupon the same is ordered to be recorded as the true last Will and Testament of the said Eli A. Powers, deceased. Given under my hand, this 8th day of June, 1912. Teste: D.P.
