Will of Solomon Keplinger

I, Solomon Keplinger of Grant County state of West Virginia, desiring to make my will and revoking all others and being perfectly in my right mind. I therefore give in trust as Executor Martin Keplinger all of my property both real and personal whome I have constituted and appointed as my executor.

I give and bequeath to my wife Margarette Keplinger all of my property both personal and real to have and use for her support and the support of my children as long as she lives, that no sale be made, that my wife Margarette keep all of my property together and use it to the best advantage for the support of herself & children, and I further desire that Henry Feaster Jr. (or Keplinger) the son of my wife Margarette be recognized by me Executor as an equal heir in the division of my property and that he be entitled to a full share of my estate both real and personal.

I therefore desire that at the death of my wife Margarette Keplinger that my Executor after paying all just claims, if there should be any, shall have three disinterested persons appointed and make an equal division of my property both personal and real without sale among my heirs including Henry Feaster Jr. or Keplinger, the son of my wife Margarette, I furthermore desire that my Executor have no control in any shape or form until after the death of my wife.

In wit whereof I have signed, sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will and testament at my residence in said County & state and on this 22nd day of September 1877.

The said Solomon Keplinger at his residence in Grant County and State of West Virginia on the said 22nd day of September 1877 signed and sealed instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last will and testament and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other witness.

On the 23rd day of October 1877 the within Last Will of Solomon Keplinger decd was proved before the County Court of Grant County by the oaths of John T. Sears & Martin Turner, subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be recorded.
