Will Martin Keplinger

I, Martin Keplinger, residing near Maysville in the County of Grant and State of West Virginia, and by occupation a farmer make this my last will.

I give, devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal, to my wife, Amelia, during the term of her natural life, or until her remarriage, to be by her use for her benefit, and the support and education of our children, with the exception that I give and bequeath to our son, George Arthur, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars, to be at his disposal and to be expended for the purpose of securing to him a better education than the one afforded by the common schools of the section in which I am residing. This bequest to my said son. First, I make to give him a chance of making aliving other than by manual labor, he being disqualified for the latter by physical infirmity � said bequest to be used when he has attained the age of 16 years. The balance of my property real and personal to be at the decease of my wife, or at her remarriage equally and fairly divided amongst and between my children Charles Edgar, Alice Gertrude, Jeffry Otterbine, George Arthur, above named, Ida Virginia, Laura Susan, Mary A. Stella, and Homer Martin.

In witness whereof, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument my will at Maysville, West Virginia this 3rd day of July, 1891.

The said Martin Keplinger at said Maysville on 3rd day of July, 1891, signed and sealed this instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last will and we at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names as subscriging witnesses:

Grant County Court Clerk�s Office, August 17th, 1892. This day the last will and testament of Martin Keplinger deceased was proved according to the oaths of witnesses.
