Will of Martin F. Hott

I, Martin F. Hott, of the county of Grant and state of West Virginia, make this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills made by me, and direct the payment of my just debts.

First, I give, devise and bequeath to Mary McVeach, who has kept house for me for many years, the sum of Four Hundred Dollars, to be paid to her by my executor hereinafter named from the first money that comes to his hands. Also, I give to her, the said Mary McVeach, my bed and bedding.

Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Gabriel S. Hott, the sum of Three Hundred Dollars.

Third, I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property of every description, unto the said Mary McVeach and four of my children, viz: Louisa McUlty, George W. Hott, Mary E. Hanger and Homer H. Hott, each the one-fifth thereof, share and share alike.

Fourth, I appoint George W. Hott executor of this my will, who is empowered to sell all property of which I may die seized and possessed as he may deem best.

Sealed, published and declared by Martin F. Hott as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of one another, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses, this 1st day of December, 1922.

In the Clerk�s Office of the County Court of Grant County, West Virginia � In the recess of said Court � December 1, 1923.

This day the last Will and Testament of M.F. Hott, late of Grant County, deceased was duly proven by the oaths of H.E. Schell and D.P. Hendrickson, the subscribing witnesses thereto, and was ordered to be recorded according to law.

Given under my hand this the 1st day of December, 1912.
