Will - Ida Stallings

           Petersburg, W.Va.
           Sept. 19, 1930

This is to show what I want done with what I have left after I am put away. I want 50 Dollars put in the Bank & the interest used to keep up my lots at the Cemetery. And my Bank Stock is to go to the children if I dont make use of it while I live and the rest of my money is to go to Kate if I have any thing left be sure & put a Marker up to my grave, you wont need to take this to Court as it is yours just read it and destroy it as no one else is in it and have the Bank Stock fixed up in your name & ask some on that knows how to fix it up, so you can take care of it for the children & if you want to sell it when the children gets older it will be all right but talk to some one that knows something about it, Bank Stock dont cost you any interest.

Hope this will be all right.
        Your Mother
        Mrs. Ida Stallings

P.S. I mean for you and Leroy to have my money that is left what is not the Childrens.

In the Clerks Office of the County Court of Grant County, West Virginia,
May 8th, 1936 In recess of said count:

This day a paper writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Ida Stallings, late of Grant County, deceased, was this day produced to the Clerk. And there being no subscribing witnesses to the said will, L.W. Rexroad and Margie Boggs, were sworn, and severally deposed that they are well acquainted with the hand writing of the said Ida Stallings, deceased, and verily believe that the said Will and the signature thereto subscribed are wholly in the handwriting of the said Ida Stallings, deceased. Whereupon the same is ordered to be recorded as the true Last Will and Testament of the said Ida Stallings deceased.

Given under my hand this the 8th day of May, 1936. Randall Leatherman, Clerk
