Will � Daniel W. Babb

I, Daniel W. Babb, of Williamsport, Grant County and State of West Virginia, knowing of the uncertainty of life, and the certainty of death do make this my last Will and Testament. I give and bequeath to my wife, Margaret Belle Babb all of my estate both personal and real as long as she shall live, after all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid and at the death of my wife, I direct that my real estate and personal property shall be sold, except my household goods which shall be divided among my nieces on my own side. I direct that my wife shall have power to sell all or a part of my real estate provided she can get a fair price for the sale, but she shall only use the interest on the amount from such sales.

At the death of my wife, I desire that one thousand dollars shall be paid to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Medley, the interest of which shall be used by the said Trustees for the support of the minister of said church provided that said minister does not use tobacco in any form.

That one thousand dollars shall be paid to the Trustees of the Colored Methodist Episcopal Church, near Medley, the interest of which shall be used by the said Trustees for the support of the minister of said church, provided that said minister does not use tobacco in any form.

That one sixth of the remainder of my estate shall be paid to the American Bible Society.

That one sixth shall be paid to the Church Extension Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

That one third shall be paid to the House Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal church.

That one third shall be paid to the Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

I hereby appoint my wife, Margaret Belle Babb, my Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament made and signed this 19th day of October 1900.

The above instrument was at the date hereof signed by the said Daniel W. Babb as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

At a county court held for the County of Grant at the Court House of said County on the 7th day of October, 1902. The foregoing Last Will and Testament of Daniel W. Babb, late of Grant County, deceased, was this day duly proven by the oaths of W.J. Babb and J.F. Scott, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and was thereupon admitted to record.
