Will - Catharine Warfield

I, Catharine Warfield of Grant County and State of West Virginia, knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death do make this my last Will. I give devise and bequeath to Charles A. Markwood all of my property both real and personal after he shall pay all of my just debts including funeral expenses and upon the conditions that he shall provide for me a comfortable living as long as I shall live. And in case of his death I desire that the whole of the estate shall descend to Charles Jesse Markwood a son of Charles A. Markwood and in case of the death of Charles Jessee Markwood before he arrives to the age of twenty one years the entire estate shall descend to the remaining members of the family of Charles A. Markwood. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 18th day of May, 1903.

The Last Will and Testament of Catharine Warfield, late of Grant County, deceased, was this day fully proved by the oaths of W.J. Babb and J.F. Scott, witnesses thereto, and was thereupon ordered to be recorded. Given under my hand this 23rd day of December, 1904.
