The WPA listed this cemetery back several years ago. At that time more of the stones were readable. Now they are very hard to read and most is unreadable. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&\ Elizabeth Stingley 1805- 28 Feb 1869 wife of Thomas Thomas Stingley 1806 - 26 Mar 1862 husband of Elizabeth Eliza Jane Stingley 1837 - 17 Nov 1840? (according to WPA records) The stones which marked the graves have been carried away and plowed over. ** Reggie Goldizen (now owner of property) told us that he knew at one time this cemetery was about 50 ft larger than what it is now and that there were many more graves and stones but they had been carried away. This cemetery is in very poor condition with most all of the stones broken. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Surveyed by Judy Kimble 4 May 2002. |
