Blair E. Ullery, 72, of 1001 Kent Avenue, died Friday in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Romney, W.Va. July 25, 1914, he was the daughter of the late Ocie and Ella (Smoot) Ullery.

Mr. Ullery was a retired store keeper for the C&P Telephone Company.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, C&P Pioneers of America, Communication Workers of America, AARP and honorary member of the American Legion, Fort Cumberland Post 13.

Surviving are his widow, June E. (Beery) Ullery; four daughters, Mrs. Karen Beavers, Audubon, Pa.; Mrs. Jull Leyh, Cumberland; Mrs. Debora Goss, Fort Ashby, W.Va., and Mrs. Deeann Hudson, Waldorf; two brothers, Eugene Ullery, LaVale, and Wallace Ullery, Cumberland; four sisters, Mrs. Odessa Ashenfelter, Mrs. Elizabeth "Tina" Campbell and Mrs. Helen Ruth Eror, all of Cumberland, and Mrs. Kathryn Abe, Wiley Ford, W.Va., and four grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Scarpelli Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Monday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Lee McDaniel.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.   The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to the St. John's Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers will be Robert Knisley, Devon Manges, William Valentine, Carl Growden, Robert Mallow and Boyd Powell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Goerge Evans, Adrian Ralston, Don Dreyer, Thomas Moyer, George Chapman and Lamer Wentling.

Mrs. O. C. Ullery
Mrs. Ella Bertha Ullery, 82, of 40 Pennsylvania Avenue, died last night in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Slanesville, W.Va., April 17, 1894, she was the daughter of the late Judson Smoot and Serena Mae (Fultz) Smoot.  Her husband, Ocie C. Ullery, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ullery was a retired employee of Celanese Fibers Company and a member of First Brethren Church.

Surviving are three sons, Blair E. Ullery, Eugene A. Ullery and Wallace G. Ullery, all of this city; five daughters, Mrs. Odessa Ashenfelter, Mrs. Ina Parker, Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell, Mrs. Helen Eror, Mrs. Kathryn Abe, all of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Smoot and Mrs. Curtis Swisher, both of Romney; Mrs. Charles Bell, Baltimore; 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Ullery Services
Services for Mrs. Ella Bertha Ullery, 82, of 40 Pennsylvania Avenue, who died Thursday, will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. in Livingstone Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Fenton Platter.  Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. tomorrow.

Pallbearers will be Grant Abe, Wayne Campbell, Timothy Parker, Craig Ullery, Allen Ullery, and Charles R. Parker.

The honorary pallbearers will be Bryon Abe, Jack Parker, and Gary Ullery.  All of the pallbearers are grandsons of the deceased.
