Ferrebee, 98, and said "Welcome home." Smiling sweetly, she took His hands and immediately, there was a host of angels surrounding them. Mrs. Ferrebee, a resident of the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, Md., and formerly of New Creek, was born on March 24, 1903, at Eglon, a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Fike) Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Ferrebee on Feb. 15, 1944; a daughter, Helen Heishman; one grandson, Jeffrey Lee Rhodes; four brothers, Julius, Jesse, Foster and Harvey Arnold; and two sisters, Elma Helmick and Mary Hinkle. Mrs. Ferrebee was retired as a licensed practical nurse at Potomac Valley Hospital with over 40 years of service. She was a member of the Sunnyside Church of the Brethren, New Creek. Surviving are two daughters, Norma W. Wilson and husband John, Keyser, and Anna Lee Rhodes and husband Bruce, Putney, Ga.; five grandchildren, Donald Heishman, Margaret Hartman, Charles Heishman, Michael Lynn Rhodes and Steve R. Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Feaster, age 84, of Petersburg, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg. Born Oct. 12, 1914, in Morgantown, she was a daughter of the late Fred L. and Bessie (McIndoe) Feaster. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Feaster, Nellie Feaster and Lois Ours. She was a graduate of St. John's Academy, and she attended Fairmont State College and West Virginia University. She taught school for 42 1/2 years in Grant and Mineral counties. She also was a member of Grant County Association of Retired School Employees and a member of Potomac Valley Baptist Church, Maysville. Surviving are her brother-in-law, Leland Ours, Petersburg; and two nephews, Thad Ours and wife, Nancy, and Fred Ours and wife, Carol, all of Petersburg. "Bunk" Feaster, Sr, 64 of Antioch, WV, died Monday January 31, 1977 at home. He had been in failing health. He was the son of the late Cecil H. and Sylvia Lenore (Rexrode) Feaster. Mr. Feaster was the owner of Aetna Lumber Company, Keyser. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-50 and attended the Piedmont church of God, Piedmont, WV. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn G. "Joy" (Marple) Feaster; three sons, Charles D. Feaster, Keyser, Kenneth D. Feaster, Keyser and Gary D. Feaster, also Keyser; two daughters, Brenda G. Lee, Swanton, Maryland, and Kimberly D. Feaster, Keyser; one brother, Donald D. Feaster, Maysville, WV; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Born Jan. 17, 1932, in Maysville, WV, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Mildred Keplinger Feaster. He was the son of the late Otis O. and Jennie Ours Feaster. Mr. Feaster was a native of Maysville and a graduate of Petersburg High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a past member of Davis Lodge 51, Keyser, WV and York Rite Bodies. He was a member of the Catawba Chapter 131, Order of the Eastern Star in Rock Hill. He was the proud recipient of the Grand Cross of Color, Order of the Rainbow for girls. Mr. Feaster was a retired commercial trucking operation for Celanese Americas. He was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church and the Joe Everett Sunday School class there. He is survived by one daughter, Dana Lynn Watkins and fiance Johnny Kay, both of Fort Mill; and one son, Randall David Feaster and wife, Catherine, Short Gap. He has four surviving grandchildren, Sarah Renee Feaster, Cody Randall Feaster, Short Gap, Kaitlin Hunter Watkins and John David Watkins, Fort Mill. During his extended illness he was attended to by his faithful Sunday School class, the residents of Warrington Place and his devoted personal friends who made sure he didn't miss their Saturday morning coffee. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Rexrode and Ollie Rexrode; and four sisters, Sudie Dettinburn, Edna Turner, Bessie Kimble and Delores Werner. She was the last member of her immediate family. Mrs. Forte was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Baltimore. She was a member of VFW Post 6454 Ladies Auxiliary, Petersburg. Mrs. Feaster was born at Maysville, a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah C. (Veach) Keplinger. Her husband, William T. Feaster, preceded her in death. She was a member of Mt/. Hebron United Brethren Church. She was the daughter of the late Rev. James G. and Elizabeth (Louer) McIndoe and was preceded in death by her husband Fred L. Feaster. She was a member of the Davis Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leland Ours, Petersburg and the Misses Irene, Nellie and Marguerite Feaster of Maysville, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Aaron, Tampa, Florida and Mrs. A. L. Mrs. Feaster, who had been a patient in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia died Saturday enroute home and was pronounced dead at the Grant Memorial Hospital. Born in Grant County January 16, 1928, she was a daughter of Victor and Dovie (Rohrbaugh) Rohrbaugh of Antioch. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl L. Born in Clover Lick on January 17, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Virginia Cunningham. The family moved to Marlinton, where she grew up. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, A. Neil Frye, her four sisters, Ruth Cunningham, Ethel Wamsley, Mildred Wolfe, and Mary Virginia Hutson, and one grandson, Ernest Weimer Frye. She is survived by her four children, Judge Andrew N. Frye, Jr., of Petersburg, Dr. John Frye, of Fairmont, Mary Frye, of Charlton Heights, and Dr. Paul Frye, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter and six grandsons, five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. A WVU Phi Beta Kappa graduate, she taught Latin and English in Petersburg and East Fairmont High Schools. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fairmont, where she once served as elder and president of the Women's Association. She had been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Marion County Retired School Employees, WVEA, American Association of University Women, and 4-H All-Stars. He was a member of Keyser Church of the Brethren, Columbia Lodge 150 of AF &AM and Harry White Post 82 in LaPlata, the National Rifle Association and the Associate Locksmiths of America. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. She was also preceded in death by three husbands, Henry Hartman, George Hiser, and W. Owen Fansler. Mrs. Fansler was a retired employee of the Celanese Fibers plant. She was the oldest living member of Holy Cross United Methodist Church in Ridgeley, and was a member and former teacher of the Sarah Virginia Bible Class of the church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Vera Wonders, with whom she resided; one son, Leslie W. Mrs. Foltz was born June 30, 1912 at Petersburg, a daughter of the late Jess Y. and Estella (Riggleman) Alt. She was a retired cosmotologist and former co-owner of Foremost Beauty Shop. She was member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her husband Owen T. Foltz, Sr. preceded her in death August 3, 1975. Surviving are three sons, Owen T. Foltz, Jr. of Winchester, Va., Jimmie D. Foltz, Sr. and Jonnie D. Foltz, Sr., both of Frederick County; one daughter, Lt. Col. Born May 19, 1889 in Grant County, she was a daughter of the late Timothy Crites and Mandy (Mongold) Crites. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Foley, January 3, 1974 and three daughters. Mrs. Foley had been a resident of the Grant County Nursing Home since Aug, 16, 1983 before being admitted to Grant Memorial Hospital on Monday, Aug. 11. She is survived by two sons, Harry W. Foley, Petersburg and John J. Crites, Dorcas; one daughter, Mernie Foley, a resident of the Grant County Nursing Home; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was born in Antioch, the son of the late James and Margaret Rotruck Ferrebee. His wife Martha Victoria Cannon Ferrebee, died in March 1944. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Gardner, 328 St. Cloud St., Mrs. Cecil Metcalf, Antioch, WV, three brothers, David Ferrebee, Wichita, Kansas, Thornton Ferrebee, Hayfield, Virginia, Ellery Ferrebee, Keyser, two sisters, Mrs. Lavina Rotruck, Martin, Mrs. Sarah Leatherman, of Westernport, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 8:30 at the church of the Brethren, with the Rev. A. R. Showalter, officiating. Interment will be made at Knobley cemetery. Mr. Ferrebee was born Nov. 9, 1909, in Antioch, W.Va., the son of Thornton Cass and Sadie Bobo Ferrebee. He retired from FMC Corp. after 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member and trustee of Salem Regular Baptist Church. He married Flora Hartley on Nov. 6, 1937, in Hagerstown, Md. Surviving with his wife, are five daughters, Betty Pyne of Paris, Va., Beatrice Freeman, Mary Borror, and Judy Campbell all of Winchester, and Wanda Collins of Berryville; two sons, Robert Ferrebee of Manassas, and James Gary Ferrebee of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Wilma Foster of Laurel, Md., Bernice Kincaid of Rockville, Md., Thelma Perdue of Anderson, Calif., and Delphia Painter of Berryville; 16 grandchildren, including Roger Garrison, Patty Kuhn, Linda Dehaven, James Garrison, Larry Garrison, and Jeff Ferrebee, whom he raised; and 24 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, with Pastor Lee Storm and the Rev. Gregory G. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. He worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways and the Petersburg Tannery and retired as a custodian with the Fairfax County Public Schools. He was married to Gerna G. Feaster of Keyser, W.Va.; a daughter, Jean Anderson of Stephenson; a sister, Nina Shobe of Petersburg; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Fisher II, 37, of Moorefield, died Friday, March 28, 1997, at his residence. Born June 20, 1959, in Petersburg, he was the son of W.N. �Wimp� and Lorraine (Hinkle) Fisher of Durgon Route, Moorefield. Mr. Fisher was a building contractor, a member of the Dorcas Baptist Church, a member of the Bears Heil Hunting Club, Cross Knob Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Brenda (Secreist) Fisher; one son, William N. Fisher III and one daughter, Micaiah Fisher, both at home; one brother Rick Fisher of Moorefield; and one sister Debbie Helmick of Moorefield. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Fraley Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Huff officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield. Friddle, 52, of Moorefield, died Wednesday, September 16, 1992, at his residence after suffering a heart attack. Born May 27, 1940, in Moorefield, he was the son of Ruby Friddle, a resident of the E.A. Hawse Continuing Care Center, Baker. A lifelong resident of Moorefield, he was a disabled firefighter equipment salesman. He was the oldest senior active member of the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company, where he was currently serving as chief. Mr. Friddle was a member of the West Virginia Fireman�s Association; Little Mountain and Caross Knob Hunting Club; National Rifle Association; and the Hardy County Rod and Gun Club. He was the past president of the West Virginia Fireman�s Association. He served as the Moorefield Municipal Court Judge for the past 13 years. In high school, he was a member of the 3-Ds. Survivors in addition to his mother, include aunts and uncles, Nibb and Wilson Zirch, Moorefield, and Wanda and Pete Friddle, Petersburg. Funeral services were conducted at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren Saturday morning with the Rev. Lindsay Thorpe and the Rev. Bruce Macbeth. Interment was in the Olivet Cemetery, Moorefield. The firemen conducted a memorial service Friday evening. The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company.
