Surveyed for Michael Likens afore of Jacob H. Fisher afore of Peter Bulkley afore of Josiah Masters a tract of land in Hardy county on the waters of Pattersons creek & on the east side of Knobley Mountain between Thorn run & salt spring run adj. the lands of Christopher Martins Heirs, James Roberts, & his own agreeable to an entry made April 5th 1841 by virture of part of a land office treasury warrant of 30,000 acres N. 2751 ?? to Jacob H. Fisher May 1st 1838 in eschange for N. 1114 & bounded as follows ??. Beginning at a stake in his line thence N. 70 W. 8� p. to a large white oak & chestnut oak comes to s. Martin�s Heirs thence with the same and same course continued 49 poles further in all 57� poles to a pine on the east side of salt spring knob N. 22� E. 13 poles to three chestnut threes by same large oaks N. 9 W. 76 poles to two chestnut oaks & a pine on a bench of s. knob S. 87 E. 67 poles to a large double black walnut at the foot of s. knob ear a corner of Robert�s N. 10 W. 7 poles to a red oak red elm & black walnut corner to Roberts with his line reversed N. 87 E. 36 poles to a white oak of three chestnut oaks corner to Roberts & in his own line thence with the same S. 20 W. 119� poles to the Beginning containing 46 acres.
