| Deed: Wm W. McNemar Et Ux to C. A. Markwood- Trustee:
This deed made the 2nd day of July 1902 by and between Wm W. McNemar and Carrie McNemar, his wife. Of the first part, and C. A. Markwood, trustee, of the second part, and all of the County of Grant and state of West Virginia, Witnesseth: that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of One Dollar cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the further consideration of securing the indebtedness hereinafter mention, doth grant and hereby convey unto the said C. A. Markwood, trustee as aforesaid, party of the second part, all their right, title and interest of three certain tracts or parcels of land, lying and situated in the County and State aforesaid, on the drains of Thorn and Ross Runs, tributaries of Patterson�s Creek and described as follows: one tract known as the Harris Tract of Warfield land said to contain 11 � acres more or less; the second tract known as the McGraw place of Warfield land adjoining the Harris Tract and said to contain 64 � acres more or less; the third tract adjoining the other tracts, was surveyed off of the 150 acres tract of Williams land sold to Warfield, and consists of the land lying East of the wagon road leading from Thorn Run County Road to the present residence of Wm T. Rotruck on the Harris land and said to contain 17 � acres, more or less. For a more complete description of these tracts reference is hereby made to a certain deed from Catherine Warfield to Wm W. McNemar of even date herewith, and recorded in the records of Grant County, West Virginia. But this conveyance is in trust to secure Catherine Warfield in the payment of four certain notes of even date herewith bearing interest at 6% and executed by said Wm /w. McNemar in favor of said Catherine Warfield, and made payable in one, two, three and four years and four months after date, they being deferred payments on land herein described notes above mentioned consist of three notes for ($100.) One Hundred Dollars each and one note for ($41.25) Forty-one Dollars and twenty-five cents, and payable in the order above stated. And if the said Wm W. McNemar shall make default in the payment of said notes or interest thereon at maturity the said C. A. Markwood, trustee as aforesaid, may at the request of the said Catherine Warfield, proceed to execute this trust in accordance with the laws of the state of West Virginia relating to deeds of trust and sales thereunder. McNemar and Carrie McNemar, his wife, whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed, bearing date 2nd day of July 1902, have this day acknowledged the same before me in my bearing date 2nd day of July 1902, have this day acknowledged the same before me in my said county.
