| Markwood/Michael Cemetery This cemetery is located back in the Fairfax stone quarry close Scherr, WV There is one huge monument for the Markwood family with 6 names on the front and two names on one end and the parents listed on the other end. Down in front of this huge marker is a row of little stones the same color as the huge marker with their initials on them. This monument must be between 6 and 7 feet tall. Born March 05, 1855, died July 25, 1904. Could this be his daughter Eliza �Jane� born about 1854 who married Jesse Hays? Perhaps there are numerous other unmarked graves in this cemetery.
