Will of Laura C. Hesse

           I, Laura C. Hesse of the County of Grant and state of west Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows: I give, devise and bequeath to by brother, Otto E. Hesse, (with the following exception) all the real estate and personal property that I may posses at the time of my death.  He, the said Otto E. Hesse, to pay out of the proceeds of the sale of the said property, or otherwise, all my lawful debts and funeral expenses.  And to pay to my sister, Bertha G. Cosner, Five Hundred Dollars, Flora V. Haslacker, Two Hundred dollars and Elsie M. Haslacker Two Hundred Dollars.  I give and bequeath to said Otto E. Hesse and Bertha G. Cosner my bed clothes to be divided equally between them.

Signed, published and declared by the within named Laura C. Hesse, as and for her Last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other, have signed as witnesses to the same this 17th day of February. 1919.     A. In the Clerk's office of the County Court of Grant County, West Virginia, this day the foregoing last will and testament of Laura C. Hesse, deceased was fully proved by the oaths of A. DeWitt Cosner and M. F. Cosner, the subscribing witnesses thereto and was thereupon ordered to be recorded according to law.  Given under my hand this 2nd day of January 1920.
