| Feaster Cemetery This cemetery is located on the Keplinger Road at the Peter and Lois Berg home. From Petersburg take Rt 42 about 9 miles until you come to the Keplinger Road on the left. Turn onto Keplinger Road, first house on left. Cemetery is on a hill in the backyard. Cemetery is in very poor condition. Trees have fallen on the stones. There is only one stone that is readable and it is broken into three pieces. The owners of the property does not know what the cemetery is called. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Henry Feaster 5 Dec 1817 - 18 Jul 1895 77 yrs 7 mo 13 da there is 2 or 3 field stones with no dates nor names also 5 - 6 sunken areas that probably is graves with no stones. surveyed 5 Aug 2006 Jim & Judy Kimble ================================================================ Listed in the 1880 Grant Co census book is the Henry Feaster Family that I am certain is the same Henry as above: Henry Feaster 62 Mary Feaster (wife) 49 Elisabeth 16 daughter Ernest 14 son Hunter 12 son Dora E 9 da My guess is that the sunken graves is the graves of this entire family. |
