LOCAL NEWS:
We had a business call from Mr. Jno. Sites of Seemly Saturday.

Mrs. T. E. Veach of Lahmansville is visiting her parents at Davis.

Mr. W. H. Siple left Sunday on a visit to McDowell, Va.

Mr. Sampson G. Sites made us a substantial call Monday.

John Smith was on a business trip to Davis last week.

Died, near Maysville last Friday Mrs. Schartiger.  The deceased was an aged woman.

Mrs. Ada Lewis, who has been ill at her daughter�s Mrs. Ben McDonald, is able to be about again.

Ed Cornell, accompanied by his friend, Baldwin, of Moorefield was visiting at Lahmansville last week.

Dr. Walter M. Babb, of Pittsburg was at home and in Keyser last week.

Mr. R.E. Fazenbaker and Miss Laura Stonebraker were married at Keyser last week.  Miss Stonebraker was originally of this county.     

Mr. Carson Baldwin, of Moorefield, an Examiner employee, is spending the week here, and gave me a lift at the case.  He is a first class typo.

Saturday�s mail brought us letter from Mr. W.A. Engeman, of Brooklyn, N.Y.  We smiled aloud on opening it for it contained a subscription.
